MARRIAGE LICENSES / CERTIFICATES
Marriage licenses for Will County – May be obtained at the Township Office, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. No appointment necessary.
Identification required
- Certified copy of birth certificate or passport
- Current form of I.D. (Driver’s License or State I.D.)
- Divorce papers or death certificate if other than first marriage
- Cash Only. No personal checks, credit or debit cards.
Request for copies of marriage certificates, birth certificates and death certificates are also available through the Township Offices. Certified copies may be ordered from the Will County Clerks Office and will be mailed to your home for the following charges:
- Marriages Licenses - $28.00 for issuing a marriage license, $9.00 for the first copy, $4.00 for each additional copy, if ordered at the same time.
- Birth Certificate – If born in Will County, $9.00 for the first copy, $4.00 for each additional copy, if ordered at the same time
- Death Certificate – If death occurred within Will County, $11.00 for the first copy, $6.00 for each additional copy, if ordered at the same time.
