As an apparent result of work-from-home and remote learning during the recent pandemic, it has come to our attention that a number of Crete Township residents do not have access to high-speed internet such as those provided in the area by Comcast and AT&T. 

Although Crete Township has no jurisdiction in this area, the Township Supervisor has been in contact with the main internet service providers as an accommodation.  The providers have requested addresses where the internet service is unavailable. 

Though it is uncertain what remedies, if any, can be made available by the providers, if you are a Crete Township resident who is experiencing a lack of high-speed internet service, please provide a brief email including your name and address to administrator@cretetownship.com and we will forward to the service providers for consideration.

The Crete Township Board of Trustees meets every 2^nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, 1367 Wood Street, Crete, Illinois.  The public is welcome to attend.

Crete Town Hall will reopen to the public on Monday, July 6^th and will resume our normal hours, as permissible, from 8:00am until 4:00pm.

We have arranged for a deep clean/sanitizing treatment for the Town Hall just prior to our reopening.  Face masks and social distancing will be required for anyone entering the building.  We strive to have everyone feel safe and remain healthy.  If you are experiencing any signs of illness, we respectfully request that you please refrain from entering the Town Hall building until the symptoms subside.
